Friction-Melt Balm for Heat, Dryness, and Exposure

Ingredients: Beeswax (low-temp steam processed), shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, raspberry seed oil, carrot seed oil, sesame seed oil, sea buckthorn oil, non-nano zinc oxide (<3%), arrowroot powder, vitamin E.

Overview

Sun Balm is built for environments that dry skin out — heat, light, wind, sweat, and repeated exposure.
It’s a dense, friction-melt balm designed to stay intact on skin through long days, without shine, residue, or chemical filters.
The formula uses carotenoid-rich oils and a low-temperature wax system to maintain structure under stress.
Less than 3% zinc is included for dry mineral texture and tone — not SPF.
This is not sunscreen. It’s material logic applied to skin.

What It Does

Reduces surface moisture loss in hot or drying conditions
Maintains a stable barrier layer during heat and friction
Spreads dry, melts clean, and stays where applied
Feels firm in the jar, controlled on skin, and non-greasy through wear

Why It’s Different

Carotenoid layer: raspberry, carrot seed, and sea buckthorn oils chosen for light and heat stability
Antioxidant system: oils selected to resist oxidation and breakdown over time
Low-temp construction: beeswax never overheated, preserving structure and performance
Friction-melt behavior: activates with contact, binds without coating
No water phase: non-microbial, shelf-stable, and heat-resilient

Best For

Hands, arms, neck, chest, and other skin exposed to heat, sun, wind, or frequent washing.
Built for outdoor work, long days, and high-friction environments.
Suitable for sensitive skin that reacts poorly to conventional sunscreens.

How to Use

Warm a small amount between fingers and apply a thin layer to dry skin.
Designed for all-day wear; reapply as needed for comfort in extended heat or exposure.

Note: Sun Balm does not claim SPF or UV protection.
Carotenoids protect the balm from sunlight, and antioxidants protect it from oxidation.
