About PurBalm | Skin Gear Built, Not Bottled
Skin Gear Built, Not Bottled.
Skin under stress needs function, not a beauty routine.
PurBalm builds thin functional barriers for skin dealing with sweat, friction, itch, discomfort, heat, water, gear and outdoor exposure. The problem comes first. The product comes second. Proof comes after that.
Built in Holiday, Florida
PurBalm was founded by Jordan and Erica Martin. We make the products in our own production setup and build the process around controlled performance rather than cosmetic positioning.
The Steam-Sheltered process
PurBalm is made with a Steam-Sheltered Wax Machine. Wax goes into a funnel first, butters and oils are added slowly, and the remaining ingredients are added last. The process stays under 150°F to avoid exposing the formula to unnecessary high heat.
Proof belongs on skin
We look for a controlled thin layer, visible natural skin lines, less friction where skin meets fabric or gear, water-shedding behavior and usable skin feel during real movement and outdoor conditions. Paper, tissue and parchment do not behave like skin, so we do not use them to prove dryness, residue, absorbency or skin feel.
Packaging in transition
Tins are the forward packaging format. Standard tins hold 1.5 oz and sell for $15. Sun Balm tins hold 1 oz and sell for $15. Existing 2.5 oz jars remain valid inventory at $18 while the transition continues.
PurBalm is performance protection, not cosmetic skincare. We use real demonstrations, customer evidence, ingredient function and the production process as reasons to believe.
