My girlfriend and I purchased a container of ember balm at the farmers market a week or so ago, and have been applying it to our under arms on the regular. My girlfriend has been using it almost daily. She’s someone with sensitive skin, and appreciates how gentle it is on her. While it doesn’t entirely mask the smell for her throughout an intense work day, it does a good enough job for her to want to buy more. I on the other hand like applying it after I shower at night because I sweat a lot in my sleep. My pits are hairy unlike hers and I feel as if that helps retain the effectiveness for longer. Even after that nights sleep and a full work day I can still faintly smell it in my under arms. For full transparencies sake, I did apply a touch of my regular deodorant before I went to work on top of the layer of ember balm from the night before, but you know what I smelled at the end of the work day? Not my regular deodorant. The ember balm. That says something. We’ll definitely be ordering more. If you’re curious, I would recommend giving it a shot. The jars look small, but it goes a lot further than you’d think.
Great perspiration and Oder control. I don’t use perfume but if I did I cannot see how this would be a conflict. Mostly I am happy to be using an all natural product on the body.
